Key Responsibilities
• Play an important and significant role in the day-to-day operations and projects.
• Oracle applications 12.2 cloning, patching, disaster recovery drill, troubleshooting, deployments and administration.
• Production support experience with Oracle 12c database, and expertise with Oracles RAC, ASM and RMAN as a core DBA
• Comprehensive experience in Oracle Weblogic administration (12c) including cloning, patching, clustering, data source, cluster management, war deployment etc.
• Manage MS SQL server databases, installation, perform maintenance, patching, failover, etc.
• Backup and recovery using RMAN with ASM.
• Provisioning new PaaS instances including IDCS, OIC, VBCS, CEM, ATP, etc.
• Hands on experience in managing Integration with other cloud Services like Database/Integration Cloud, IDCS.
• Experience in User setup, Role and Permissions in Oracle PaaS layer
• Strong experience in database performance tuning.
• Oracle PaaS administrator is expected to know how all components of an enterprise IT stack and have specialized knowledge and troubleshooting ability in SaaS and PaaS Environments.
• Determining the cause of problems both in terms of functionality and performance, to include providing after action reports with root cause analysis.
• Manages application instance configurations and enterprise applications.
• Conduct work in an organized, timely and quality manner.
Technical Experience
Senior Oracle Apps DBA with strong experience in Oracle E-business Suite 12.2, Oracle Fusion Middleware and Database, Oracle PaaS administration.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent.
- 6 - 8 years of experience as Oracle Apps DBA.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS) implementation and support of Oracle Integration Cloud, IDCS, etc..
- 1-2 years of experience in MS SQL server databases.
- Expertise in Oracle E-business R12.2 administration including cloning, ADOP, data guard, security patching, RAC, ASM, etc.
- Experience in managing Oracle Weblogic 12c (Fusion middleware) including cloning and patching, clustering, etc..
- Broad understanding of DBCS, ICS, JCS, Oracle Weblogic, Oracle PaaS, Oracle SaaS, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) etc.
- Good Knowledge on Incidents/Request and CHANGE MANAGEMENT process
